Happy fall everyone!
The school year is off to a good start under the new ways of being and new protocols. We are living by our 3 guiding phrases that are found in the NISS school Code of Conduct:
Take Care of Self
Take Care of Others
Take Care of Place and Property
The Code of Conduct can be found on the NISS Website.
Youth Drop-In is available with Kyli Griffith, Child and Youth Care Worker, on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00. Students can come for academic or social/emotional supports.
Each grade (learning group has a designated support person for general supports. If you are needing to connect with them, please email Ms. Johnson, email@example.com and she will pass on the message.

Before we know it, grad will be upon us. Grads are already getting excited and are starting to talk about plans. We will have our first parent grad meeting to brainstorm ideas on Oct. 22 at 4:30 through Zoom.
We are very thankful to the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank for their generous donations of food to the local communities. There will be a food bank set up outside the Multi-Purpose room each Wednesday from 1:30-3:00.
Some dates to remember: Thanksgiving Oct. 12 and Pro-D Day Oct. 23
Enjoy the weekend.
