The plumbing issue continues to be worked on today. We hope to have it fixed by Monday.

On a fun note, we had an unexpected truckload of ice cream delivered to NISS this week. Thanks to Jordan at IGA and Deborah Murray for making this happen. It put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Friday, April 23 is the last day of Quarter 3. Due to the extra stressors and pace of the quarter system, we will be offering drop-in support for any students needing time to complete any outstanding tests, assignments, or projects, instead of having regular classes on that day.

As Earth Day (April 22) falls on one of the last days of Quarter 3, staff and students have asked to celebrate Earth Day in mid-May. So, on May 14, NISS students and staff will be doing a community clean-up. We will also have lunch available for all students during the break.

A friendly reminder to grade 10,11, and 12 students who need to write their numeracy and literacy exams, the dates are April 13 and 14. Names of students needing to write are posted on the front office window. More information about these assessments and sample questions can be found at the following link:

Have a great weekend and see you Monday.
